i dont know if anyone will find this here has travel thread does not seem to be visited often.being as tho i am in france i thought i would share a bit. today it was extremely sunny.no clouds but a cool wind.i went to an english beauty thereapist in the morning.she runs her business from her home and does a good little trade.this afternoon we went for a walk with one grandson in his buggy.we walked passed lots of fields ploughed and ready for corn or sunflowers to be planted.we stopped on the bridge for grandson to throw twigs and watch them sail away on quite a fast current.half an hour of this and i was ready to move on we had to manhandle little un back into his buggy as he was having such fun. next we came to a opening with stone steps down to a medieval wash pool.next to the medieval church that was open.with lovely pictures on the wall that no-one had pinched or vandalised.there were little signs all over the wall saying merci obviously thanks for answered prayer.we walked around the quiet hamlet then back to our farmhouse.tired but feeling good.

Ou est le village, Eleanor? It sounds like the sort of place we like. Can you order some warm dry weather for us please, we will be there the beginning of April.

sounds fantastico eleanor. I would love to go back to France, I used to spend many a childhood and teenage holiday there, usually camping. We loved getting up in the morning and going to the boulangerie to get the freshly baked baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat, and then sitting out in the morning sunshine with a jug of orange juice. Good times!

Sounds like you're really enjoying yourself, we've had snow here in the UK over Easter weekend, quite a lot in some areas! But it's all melted now and it's back to grey skies :( We're hoping for a turn in the weather after tomorrow, I think spring is on its way so hopefully it'll be in full swing for when you return x
